wrong cords

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me how to change the cords on published cache. I have had several comments on my caches that the cords were too far off. Help Please.

If your changing less than 528 feet - Use log your visit in the upper right hand corner and select the update coordinates log type.

If your changing more than 528 you need to write the reviewer.

Go to 'Log your visit' and select "Update Coordinates" for distances up to .1 miles (528 feet). If it needs more than that you'll have to ask a Reviewer for help

Go the log function (found, dnf, etc)

As the cache owner you will also find others including:

update coordinates.

Simply plugin the appropriate correction. This works for a reasonable distance

Beyond a certain distance requires the assistance of your reviewer.

I'm sure if you try to put in too much of a change you will get an error message, otherwise it will correct the location for you.

The Help Center really is helpful:
