+pompey4x4
I've been out caching today, and I normally take a pad to make note, for example where I left TB's etc. I left the pad in the car today but remembered I could leave comments on the Found Log section of my Oregon 550. But, How do I read them back? cheers. Quote Link to comment

They are stored in the geocache_visits.txt file on your GPSr. Silly as it seems, there is no way to view them on the unit itself. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
I believe you are referring to field notes. http://www.geocaching.com/my/fieldnotes.aspx The link guides you through it. EDIT TO ADD: We have developed a type of shorthand, and use that. Once the field notes are uploaded to geocaching.com, we edit the field note shorthand into a full log before submitting it.
