+Glenn Posted March 23, 2012 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Remove the batteries and use the USB cable to connect it to a PC. Turn it on. If it will power up all the way when connected to a PC then try cleaning the metal contacts in the battery compartment with a pencil eraser. Once they are shiny again give it another try with just the batteries. If it tries to boot but fails. Then give it the old three finger salute. With the batteries removed and the unit connected to a PC hold the menu+up+power at the same time. Navigate to the geocache directory and delete all the .gpx and .loc files. Then try powering it up using just the batteries again. Quote Link to comment
