+Markwell Posted November 28, 2002 Share Posted November 28, 2002 Caches get archived for various reasons (plundered, pulled for the winter, placed without permission and discovered, etc.).I would hazard a guess that even if there were 420 caches still today, they would not be the same 420 caches you have in your GPS. Unfortunately, there's no feature like the "new cache notification" that also includes "these caches were archived" although I wish it did. I guess the best advice is to always look at the cache pages before going on a hunt to make sure that the cache is still there! Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
