+topotracker
My Garmin 62s shuts off when I scroll from right to left and go to "Compass". I am curious if this is a known problem that an update will fix. Email me Quote Link to comment
Blue_Stone
You mean on the scroll bar that pops up when you press either the "Page" or "Quit" buttons? I would download and install Garmin's Webupdater, and go ahead and do a firmware update. It seems quick and easy enough, and seems a lot safer than updating the firmware on a lot of older units. I will give that a try. Thanks Quote Link to comment
