+bluelamb03
Come to Dynamic Earth (home of the Big Nickel) and visit the Canadian GPS Adventure Maze starting March 3rd! http://sciencenorth.ca/dynamic-earth/exhibits/index.aspx?LangType=1033 But apparently we won't get to log a GPS Maze cache and earn the icon..... What's up? Is this an oversight, or a slight? The Canadian version isn't good enough? Blue - Quote Link to comment
+CanadaKate
The Canadian version was good enough for an icon at the July 2011 Alberta Mega. And, in my opinion, the Canadian version is actually better and more up to date than the somewhat tired version that showed up at the Ontario Science Centre last year. +GeoMeerkats
Have you looked for a cache page for the GPS Maze? That's where you'd log a find, not on the museum's website. I doubt the museum even knows that geocachers can log a find for it. As CanadaKate said, we were able to log a find for the maze at the Best of the Bad Mega - WestCan 1 in Alberta last July. +CanadianRockies
The maze listing page (GC3D54R) is up with the maze icon. There is no souvenir for visiting, but I don't think there ever was -- for this maze or for the original. Quote Link to comment
