Sorry ----I spelled recommend wrong. Thanks I have had a few hand held devices and I would say don’t go to cheap. You are new and just incase you stay with this I would recommend the Garmin Venture HC. It’s very easy to use, you can hook it up to the computer and good in wooded cover. The unit can be purchased new on E-bay for a little over a hundred dollars. If you want to kick it up a notch or two I would recommend the Oregon 450 which allows you to go paperless.
