    Souvenir

I have 10350 points for Reach the Peak #ELBRUS” and have not received my Souvenir for ELBRUS Summit any clues why?
  3. I put the cords in #4 and edited the description to suit. It works great. Couldn't wait for HQ. I will edit it to #5 if and when they get back to me.
  4. I have the same problem. I have submitted a Help to HQ yesterday but no answer yet. will post if I here anything.
  5. Is there a way to look for adventure labs on a web page on computer? If so Link please.
  6. You used to be able to do it when I set it up. That was in 2006.
  7. That’s exactly what I am trying to do with the sprint account and am changing my cell from ATT to Sprint in the manner you have shown, but when I try to set it up I have to verify it sends the message to my I-phone fine but get the error code as stated in my first post. Try it and see if you can get it to work.
  8. i used to get notifications of a new cache posted to my i-phone messages. I recently got a new carrier and my text number has changed. i am trying to list a new notification and when i go to (add and edit) there is no way to edit the phone number. i started a new notification and added the new text number when i added it to the new e-mail and send it out to get it verified i get the text message, but cannot get it to verify. When it opens up in the message I get Error 404: DNF any ideas or can't you get test messages anymore on a new posting?
  9. On my caches that are small to regular I have been putting my log sheet inside a 35mm film container, If the cache does get wet they can dump the water out and still have a dry log to sign. I haven’t had to go out and put a dry log in on any of those type containers.

    total miles

Thanks for the idea-I think I got it to work. First I downloaded “my finds” pocket query. Than put that zip file on my desktop. Then when into GSAK and downloaded a maco “total distance” downloaded that to gsak along with the zip from desktop, ran it and came up with 63,672 miles. Don’t know if that is right, but that’s more info than I had. A side note out of the 4700 finds 1600 were archived sense I started caching in 2006. Thanks tom
  11. I know there is a way to calculate your total miles traveled of your finds cache to cache using a Pocket Query of your finds, but forgot how to. Anybody out there remember how?
  12. This is a game, if you don’t like the way he plays it then don’t play with him, it’s all he is doing is ruining your game. My advice is to forget about him obviously you are not going to change him or the way he plays, so move on and Cache on!!
  13. You must have fetched them before, if so it will not fetch them again only the most resent.
  14. so how do you write it so it shows a color when logging found it log. I tried with no luck.
  15. I'm a little confused. Not sure what you are talking about here. Is it relevant to my question? I think what he's implying here is that if you want to add some color in your online logs to do so in moderation. When web pages were first created (in 1990), the HTML markup language provided the ability to format text using a range of fonts, sizes, and colors and there were some that created pages with a variety of colors and font sizes, just because they could. The infamous marquee tag (which causes text to blink) is still considered the pinnacle of lameness. As someone suggested earlier you can colorize text by using UBB code, a markup language that is support in the logs (and the forums). Here is a page that explains How to use UBB Code
  16. The only way that I would know is go to Google Earth and put in placemarks where your caches are located.
  17. I have gotten over 200 FTF”s and it gives me an adrenaline rush. It let’s you find it just as the CO intended it to be found, usually hidden pretty will. It also leads to a little competition between other cachers = more fun. That’s the only reward you get as far as I know.
  18. Thanks I run the link just what I was looking for.
  19. Just got my 17th country in March.
  20. I was wondering if there was a source somewhere to get stats on your ranking with other cachers, on how many countries one has cached in?
  21. If you have purchased Birds Eye That works just Great I have been in the Caribbean 5 times Caching and only one island had no Satellite image.
  22. There are a couple of options. The easiest is to use the project-gc.com site. It will display your total cache to cache distance in kilometers. If you have a PC you can also use GSAK and the FindStatsGen. It will also show the total cache to cache distance in either miles or kilometers. I also have found caches in 17 countries (on four continents) but only have about 1150 finds. My total cache-to-cache distance is 175,445 Miles with an average distance from home at 422 miles. I'm leaving a week from today for Ethopia and hope grab a couple caches there as well as a few in Istanbul during an 11 hours layover on the way home. hanks I will give that a try! Check your profile pretty impressive visits.
  23. I want a easy way I have over 4000 finds in 17 countries....
