I have a Garmin GPSmap 62st and I don't seem to be able to upload caches (or anything else) from it to Memory Map Europe on my PC. I can do it from my old Garmin 76SX. Any ideas please?

Not a 62, but an Oregon - but I've always imported tracks and waypoints GPX files from my Oregon, then opened the GPX in MM as an overlay.....

This thread on the Memory Map site seems to answer your question. Looks like importing to MM from the 62st is handled differently from the 76.

Edit This was the search on MM, apparently there are issues with the usb connection answered in these threads.

Following your advice we've now found that we can open the device like a usb, view the files and then drag and drop caches to memory map. It works rather well, so thanks a lot for your advice everyone.
