I ask because I was told by a friend that some GPS have a problem when they are used in the southern hemisphere. Quote Link to comment

Only time there should be any satellite disruption or issues are physical obstacles like trees, road overpasses, buildings, etc. I could be wrong, but I've never heard of this. Quote Link to comment
