+beehall & barbiehall
I have a coin with a mission that another cacher can fulfill. How can I log my passing the coin on to him? I am in RI. He is in NY. The coin would be sent to NY with one of our regular deliveries to that location. Quote Link to comment
+S&SLaird
The other cacher can just log it as grabbed from you when the recieve it. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Handing off a traveler to another cacher is fine, but it sounds like you are transporting the coin in a manner outside of geocaching. (Not hand to hand or via caches) Do you have the owner's permission? Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
....our regular deliveries to that location. You mean as in "give it to the driver to deliver to somebody he doesn't know" type of regular delivery? Probably not a good idea. For one thing, you are putting it into the hands of a non-cacher (I would guess) -- typically, a no-no! The traveler owner should always be asked before making such a maneuver with their travel bug or geocoin. Some owner's say it's OK, while others object to anything other than cache-to-cache travel (that is afterall, the intent of a travel bug or geocoin). Quote Link to comment
