+Labrador Wild Man
Hi all Very worried about if i delete a file by mistake! i have read you can just delete any file that said GPX on it? but can you make a copy of the files onto your hard drive and if i make a mistake and the GPS stops can i cut and paste the files back? will that work or not? just not sure thanks LWM Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
If you want to back up the entire file system of the unit to the PC you can do that. If something goes missing on the unit then you can copy and paste the file back. The only file you really want to play with is the file labeled GPX, where all your .gpx files are stored. But you should already have a copy of the .gpx files on the unit since you have to download them to your PC before you can transfer them into the unit. Quote Link to comment
