It definitely makes a difference, more so the farther away the projection is from the starting point. We've gone after projection caches where the cache owner didn't specify, so we've learned to run both. You'd need to check your GPSr to see what your currently set for, magnetic or true north. If you are just putting in the N/S part of a waypoint it doesn't matter. The N coords do not change as it is a position not a direction. Quote Link to comment
