+CamerLot
Hope this isn't a silly question, but is there a way to recieve email notifications when a new cache pops up in your (or a specified) area? We would love to be able to log a FTF Quote Link to comment

+SmallsKC
We have it set up to text us the new cache information when it is published. It comes in handy sometimes if you really want to go for FTF. For instance, today I had to run an errand and while I was out I received two texts with two new caches. One was about 1 mile away from where I currently was and the other was less than 1 mile from the first one. Had I been home they would not have been so close. Needless to say my 2 yr old daughter and I decided to go for it and we were FTF on both of them. Normally if they aren't very close by I don't jump up and run out the door. It is nice when I am already out and close by. Quote Link to comment

+SmallsKC
You will have to figure out the email address for your phone number. For example, if you are on ATT then your email is (your 10 digit phone number)@txt.att.net. You can check this site for your Email to Text address. http://www.emailtextmessages.com/ Quote Link to comment
+Flintstone5611
Another thing you may want to remember is that when you set up a notification, it is only for one cache type. In order to see new multis, unknown, EC, and event caches you will have to create separate notifications for each one. Quote Link to comment
