Virtualization is the way to go. I have MapSource on WinXP on VMware on Linux, and it's been working 100% for me for years, both on older and newer versions of Ubuntu.

I gave up on Wine years ago.

Yup, Virtualbox for all your VM needs. WINE has never worked satisfactory for me.

I need to install Virualbox OR VMware and then install Windows 7 within the box?

Please explain.

Thanks
