Ubuntu 11 and Mapsource?

Any one running Ubuntu with Garmin Mapsource installed?

Any problems?

I was not able to get Mapsource to run in either 10 or 11.04 (Ubuntu) using wine

 

with wine, I am able to get NG TOPO4 to run 100%

Virtualization is the way to go. I have MapSource on WinXP on VMware on Linux, and it's been working 100% for me for years, both on older and newer versions of Ubuntu.

 

I gave up on Wine years ago.

Yup, Virtualbox for all your VM needs. WINE has never worked satisfactory for me.
