+Team MoS Posted September 13, 2011 Share Posted September 13, 2011 Hi ! me and my wife may visit Barcelona 10-11/11 and wonder if anyone plans an 11-11-11 event that we can attend, or is it just in Sweden its a "big thing"? I didn't afford a huge experience but defenitevly I will recommend you this one --> http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=be1dc74a-3209-4d14-bce6-eab81c13a3e9 near Tibidabo mountain at the "Carretera de l'Arrabassada" (Arrabassada Road) which drives you to Sant Cugat del Vallés, close to the city and with potential nice views. It's located on the ruins of the old "Casino de Barcelona". I think this is a very nice creepy cache. Go with full day light and take care where you put your feet (some holes). Visiting the Tibidabo mountain could be a nice "combo" for the views. There is a recreational park at the top of it. You can get there by public transport getting the FGC(Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya) and/or take the "funicular del Tibidabo" that climbs the mountain. There should be other nice caches at Parc Güell (which it's a must) an others close the Sagrada Familia but for sure not so adventurous.
