+team_awe5ome
I am having problems putting geocaches onto my GPS. First things first: GPS: Magellan Explorist GC and my computer is a Mac running OS X. I also have a premium account. I can download the gpx file, drag and drop it into my geocache folder on my gps. The geocaches are listed in that folder when I am viewing them on my Mac. The problem is that only the first 2 that I drop into that folder are listed on the GPS when I disconnect it from my Mac. I tried dropping multiple geocaches into the folder with the same result: they show up on the computer but not on the GPS, when it is disconnected. Quote Link to comment

+hawkeyetob
You probably have done this, but make sure you have downloaded the latest version for your unit. I'm a pc but when I start my eXplorist GC it says ver. 1.4...not sure what version is for Mac. Quote Link to comment
+EdrickV
Don't have that GPS so can't say specifically what the problem is, but if dropping 1 gpx file works, then I have a workaround that may help. Use GPSBabel to combine multiple gpx files into one bigger gpx file. They have an OSX version and it is freeware. http://www.gpsbabel.org/ Quote Link to comment
+team_awe5ome
Thanks for the replies. To all those people that may be having the same problem here is the solution that I have found that works the best. The best way to drop the files into the gps is to do a pocket query, download the results and unzip the file into the Geocache folder in the gps. This is a much faster way of getting the geocaches into the gps over the single drag and drop method. Quote Link to comment
