If you use GMT, it makes it a bit more difficult, but where there is a will, there is way. To answer to OP's question, use the lua time functions. Quote Link to comment

Like most games if a player want's to cheet they will try. They are only cheeting their selves. Like a Wherigo that I made for the Ohio MWGB players were just stumbling on or using the emulator for the Final log container signing and taking credit for a Wherigo! OH well they just cheated them selves! So back to my question: I'm not a big Lua programmer can someone give me a start in the right direction? I did talk to a friend and He did also think that using GMT might be the best way. This cache would be placed in Michigan or Ohio. Quote Link to comment

For example, send the player to coordinates, then have a firetack on the front of a tree 80 feet away, with a micro on the back of the tree containing the password to the next stage.
