+biggdipper
I just bought another garmin gps 60csx because I like my old one so much, and am trying to set it up to correspond to my old one. Everything seems to be working right except that I can't seem to call up the on screen keypad. I tried looking at the manual, but with no luck. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to find it. 7rxc
I only have a CX, but the normal way is to select an editable data field box, enter, and the box opens up revealing the keypad. I'm not sure that isn't the standard on all models, certainly is going back a few. Doug 7rxc Quote Link to comment

There is no keypad page but I believe your asking about on the waypoint/cache page. you have to change the search from "find Nearest" to "Find by Name". To do this on the waypoint/cache page hit menu and select it. Quote Link to comment
+biggdipper
Thanks for responding, but I solved my own problem. I just didn't have enough caches entered into my gps to show the keypad to find cache by name or symbol. Once I added a larger list of 50 the keypad showed up automatically. biggdipper , Jeanne and Lou Quote Link to comment

Unless you have select 'nearest' and the caches you have loaded are more than 50 miles away, in which case they won't show, unless you select 'show by name' Edited July 31, 2011 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
