Ma John
Hi there Am a bit of a newbie at this and have a geocoin problem. In a cache (Rocket walkies 3, N 51° 02.833 W 002° 41.833) I found a Templar Coin. I retreived it ready to move on, but when I try to log it on the goecaching.com site (to let people know I have got it) I cannot seem to enter its details as it does not seem to have a tracking number / ref. I have tried using the ref on its page, but keep being told this ref is a public one and I need the private one? So, on the site it still looks like it is at Rocket walkies 3, but it is not .... Thank you Quote Link to comment
mamoreb
Hi Bigaitchc, Welcome to the fun world of geocoins! Yes, the code that is listed on the geocoin page is a public one, so that anyone can access the geocoin page. The coin also has a private code (tracking code), so that only those who actually hold the coin, can log it. The tracking code is always found somewhere on the coin. Did you check the rim of the coin? Sometimes the tracking code is hidden there, it can be hard to spot at first! Quote Link to comment
NOSNOW
The tracking code should be on the side with the two knighs and horse, to the right of the head of one of the knight. I belive it should start PC_____. Quote Link to comment
Ma John
Hello there are no markings on the rim and on the side with the two heads - letters going all the way around. How long should the number be and where does it start / finish? Quote Link to comment

manu luq
The first version has the track number next to the knights, as stated, and the second version has it on the edge of the coin. Quote Link to comment
