+parkrrrr Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 This isn't a huge deal, but if you haven't sent infopop any hate mail lately and were looking for a reason to, you might mention that the "GMT-0500 (EST)" choice in the preferences is really Eastern Daylight Time, which is not the same thing at all.
Team Dragon Posted July 24, 2002 Posted July 24, 2002 I think Infopop believes that every place uses daylight savings thus, there is no need for a difference between the two. They forgot that GMT, in addition to places like my home, also don't change which means that EST (-5) and EDT (-4) are different.
