acmepinnacle Posted September 19, 2003 Share Posted September 19, 2003 as a new guy here, I had some trouoble (my own fault) downloading .loc waypoint files. The problem is that I did not yet agree to the Groundspeak License Agreement. When I clicked on the "download .loc waypoint file", it didn't tell me specifically I didn't yet agree to the GSL, but just gave me the download waypoint info page, which I had already read (ok, misread). I am sure I am not the only one who overlooks things, so I suggest that when a user who has not agreed to the license clicks on download .loc, he gets a specific error message. There is already a clearer click point for the general info on downloading waypoints. This site thus far looks VERRRRY interesting . . . thanks Link to comment

It took a minute to re-read the page and figure out where to click, but a better first impression could be made with a page with clearer instructions. No text about the software this and software that, just keep it to the "you gotta agree (click here) if you want the file". Link to comment
