Op Ivy Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I'm thinking of getting into geocaching. I'm in Brisbane, Qld and thinking of starting with some of the inner-city ones because I'm there a fair bit and hoping I can find them with google earth as I don't yet have a GPS. Just wondering about how Australian police view geocaching - if geocachers get hassled much and when they do how police react when they find out what's going on? Also, are there more problems with this in inner city areas? Quote
+jindi kid Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 well personally i have not had a police encounter. but just tell the police what it is all about and they should leave you alone. however try not to look very suspicous. in the more urban areas you will find the caches are smaller and there are more people around to make it harder. have fun Quote
