+KatieBTrekkers
I think the owners of a cache should be able to see who is watching their caches. Any other thought out there about this?? [This message was edited by KatieBTrekkers on January 26, 2003 at 04:24 AM.] Link to comment

+mtn-man
It has been thought of and this question has been posted several times on these forums. Giving that information would basically be an invasion of privacy. Link to comment
+KatieBTrekkers
Sorry for being vauge. I was talking about the people on the list to be notified when the cache is found. I thought it would be nice to know who liked your cache so much as to watch it. D. Bell Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
As mtn-man said, this actually comes up about once a month, if not more often. What it boils down to is that no one's actually put forth a good reason to do this (beyond simple curiosity). There are some good reasons not to do it, though. Some cache owners who've had caches stolen believe that people use the watch list in order to know which caches to plunder. I know it doesn't make much sense, but they're angry, and want someone to point a finger at. Would you, or anyone else, want to be on the other end of that pointing finger, just because you were watching a cache that was stolen? Link to comment
