+Diamonds'nGlocks
I picked up the 62s today, received and unzipped a pocket query and opened it using EasyGPS (which I downloaded about 8 months ago). The 62s is not listed in the list of devices to send the caches to. The forums that the program directs you to let me create an account but the page doesn't load when I try to make a new topic. Is there another free, easy to use program available? Can I put the unzipped file directly into the gps somehow? We were hoping to do some Valentine's Day caching! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
Is your GPSr on and connected to the PC? Is Windows showing the GPSr listed in the device manager? If so then EasyGPS should see it and have it listed. Quote Link to comment

It goes from the 60CX to the 640. Quote Link to comment
+mpilchfamily
You know you can just drag and drop the .GPX file directly into the GPSr right? Quote Link to comment

Unzip both .gpx files. Copy both these files to your GPS Garmin/GPX folder using Windows Explorer. Load up Garmin's BaseCamp and you are away..... Hope this helps. Can you expand on how you do this? I use Windows Explorer as indicate above. Maybe I can learn something here? Quote Link to comment
+ventura_kids
I use GSAK. It's like a super powered spreadsheet. You just load the zipped queries right into it. You can filter your list, and then just download right into the 62. (it's listed) Quote Link to comment
+Cacheoholic
There is no 3rd party software needed. Just put the extracted pocket query files in the GPX file in your GPS. You can do this by drag & drop, copy & paste or extract to. You will find the GPX folder in the Garmin folder. No EasyGPS or BaseCamp needed. Quote Link to comment
