GoPherStash Posted October 23, 2002 Share Posted October 23, 2002 Actually the TB tags do come with an activation code, but no real instructions. Best I can remember, you will want to go to the "track tavel bugs" page, and enter the tag number. The search that comes back will show that the bug has not been activated. There will be a place to enter the activation code (which you will find on the envelope the bugs came in. You should be able to take it from there. GoPherStash Quote Link to comment
+coast2coast2coast Posted October 26, 2002 Author Share Posted October 26, 2002 I was in Winnipeg and our TB arrived at our home. My wife made me wait until I got home to read the plastic wrapper with all the info. Not 10 mins after registering our TB someone was making up finds of our bug and in less then 10 mins our bug travels 26,000 plus miles. I was told to delete the nice number on the tag when I showed the pic once we did that all the pretend places stopped. Thanks for all your info. Happy Geocaching Quote Link to comment
