Paperless caching

I'm using a Palm Tungsten to download cache descriptions from GSAK. It seems that I can't download from GSAK from my new laptop which uses Windows 7. Any suggestions on a new device? No way I want to start lugging sheets of paper again. I understand there are devices which combine the functions of the Palm and a GPS? I don't care whether it has a phone or not.

Sorry, I've not tried it yet, but won't the Palm Desktop run and sync in compatibility mode?

You could always get a iPod Touch. But for that price you could probably find a GPSr that can do paperless caching.

 

You could try comparability mode or set up XP in a VM. If you don't understand the lingo then your probably better off buying a replacement as your wanting to do.

64-Bit Windowsm7? The usb drivers for palm does not support 64 bit OS's. I think the Tungsten has a SD card slot. Here is what I do on my 64-bit Win 7 system.
