I broke a lamp post looking for a cache.

I am reluctant to say that I am pleasantly surprised that no one brought this up as yet another reason to ban LPC caches..

THANK YOU.

Where do we begin? Destruction of property, vandalism (scratching the paint on the lamppost by lifting the skirt), not getting permission to place a cache on private property, etc...

You forgot "lack of 'wow' factor". ;)

When I place a cache, it's usually some place that I want people to see that they might not see normally. Yes, a LPC is a smiley, but I don't consider it a cache. But that's just my personal opinion.

It would/could be the WOW factor if it were a LPC at a Nudist Resort.

There I go again, getting another post count for an Off topic turned On.

I've been to a couple of nudist resorts. There is no WOW factor in their parking lots. Heck, there's not much of a WOW factor inside the fence, either. I think there's some variant of Murphy's law at work.
