Paperstraw Posted December 31, 2010 Share Posted December 31, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone, I just bought my first GPSr yesterday, and as the title says it is a Garmin eTrex Legend H. It doesn't seem to be working now. I took it out of the box yesterday at my friends house, put in some batteries and let it acquire a satelitte signal. I then turned it off and put it aside since it wasn't the right time to be playing around with it. Anyway, a few hours later I get home and try to turn it on, and..... nothing. I replaced the batteries twice, and even tried to change the brightness settings (thinking that the screen could have just been on max brightness, though that seems impossible). So yeah I just wanted to see if this is a common/fixable problem before I call Garmin. Edited December 31, 2010 by Paperstraw Quote Link to comment

If I bring it back to the store I woon't be able to get the same model (i.e. no gps at all because of my current budget), so I'm kinda screwed either way. Quote Link to comment
