+kywaterfowler
What does everyone put them on to keep them from getting torn up and destroyed in the geocaches? Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
I use those self-laminating plastic tags. (You can get them in the luggage section of your local stuffmart) I just type up my own mission/goal info and include logging instructions. Trim it down to size and wire that and the metal tag to the traveler. No baggies are needed then. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
We print a shrunken info sheet, hot laminate both sides, afix a smallish grommet to the tag. Finally, we use a short length of garage door cable (1/16") with a ferrule to attach all -- discard the bead chain or use it for something else. So far so good for all we have done that way. This eliminates need of a baggie which gets destroyed soon anyway, and becomes more clutter/junk. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Tough bugs with no baggie are the best thing in my opinion. Which is also why I would prefer people let me know my bug needs to be repair rather than 'fixing' it for me. Contact the the owner before adding or removing anything, if they say yeah could you put it in a new baggie and print a new goal sheet? You just made yourself a new friend. If they say no could you mail it back to me? Another new friend. If you just do what you want with someone else's bug, you might just tick someone off. Quote Link to comment
