GARMIN 550T - HOW TO DELETE CACHES

You need to delete the .gpx file that contains the cache(s) you wish to delete. This needs to be done via computer and cannot be done on the device itself.

Your question suggests that you are not grouping caches into a PQ, which is the preferred method of loading caches onto that GPS. There is additional detail in the wiki fegan referred you to.

BTW, using ALL CAPS is considered shouting in forum etiquette, and generally considered rude.

WE ARE NEW TO THIS GPS AND CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO DELETE CACHES. ALSO I JUST GSAK TO SEND CACHES TO THE UNIT BUT THERE ARE NO LOGS, HINTS, ETC. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. RECEIVED THE UNIT LAST NIGHT AND AM LEAVING TOMORROW FOR A CACHING TRIP! THANKS!

That's a whole lot to bite off in 12 hours.

Learn about pocket queries (you're a premium member; get the benefit)

Run pocket query

Load resulting *.gpx into GSAK

Send data to 550 as caches (not waypoints)

Go caching

Log caches at gc.com

Use PC to delete or overwrite the previous *.gpx with a new one
