+Go JayBee
What is this used for? Anyone know?.....you always see this at the top of the TB's page: ''Use TB9BB2 to reference this Travel Bug.''. I cannot find anyplace to use this type of number to either track TBs or find them. I do know better than to 'post' the TB's Serial Number either on a cache page or note on the TB's page and have seen other reference to only using the ''Reference Number''.....but how? Thanx in advance, JayBee [This message was edited by JayBee & LitLens on July 25, 2003 at 02:08 PM.] Quote Link to comment
+Markwell
It's similar to the GCxxxx number for the caches. It's a translation of the last portion of the website for the bug into hexidecimal format. You can enter that number from the main track page and bounce to the bug's page. Just like entering in the six digit secret code. Point is that you can have someone pop to the bug's page without giving them the secret code. Markwell Chicago Geocaching Quote Link to comment
+Go JayBee
Yes, I see that works....seems I tried that before but maybe was not including the TB prefix. Thank you for the helpful tip.
