Cannot validate your Twitter account. Check your username and password.

I can't validate my twitter account on Geocaching for weeks now. I'm sure I have the correct username and password I use Twitter everyday. Anyone else with the same problems.

Thanks. I actually just noticed that in the last week or so. It always used to work, then it just stopped working, and nothing got posted to Twitter, despite text message verification that you logged the cache as a find in your field notes.

Must be a tweetin' nuisance. Sorry, couldn't resist........

This is due to a change of authorization method at twitter which was announced around May already and finally changed in August. GC programmers yould simply change authorization to oAuth method which is not very difficult.

Now not allowing access to Twitter? Give us a break already. Just get the OAuth implemented already!
