+Showcase_Boyz Posted April 5, 2002 Posted April 5, 2002 Jeremy tells us that there is no rule that states you can't use the "COPY" tag. But my question is, if you send both tags out, both have the same number, will this not confuse the locations? Copy tags should have an identifying number or letter, so they can be tracked separately! Mike (The DirtMan) Pellerin aka Badger dirtman@iname.com Jason Dobson aka "Jay" "J" Myth8499@aol.com Quote
Zuckerruebensirup Posted April 5, 2002 Posted April 5, 2002 I think the point was that you could send the copy out in the event that your original travel bug went AWOL...not to have both out there at the same time. Quote

Web-ling's brain is now contemplating the complexities of multiple bugs with the same tracking ID. Something strange may happen soon! Quote

Jeremy Posted April 6, 2002 Posted April 6, 2002 It's a backup tag. Nothing says you have to use it if your original goes AWOL. Since it is your tracking number to do what you want with it, feel free to make a new bug with the same tracking number. Jeremy Jeremy Irish Groundspeak Lackey and Geopuppet Quote
