+PaneledZero
I have done some research on this because I was rather curious myself. What I found is that the Wherigo's are not compatible on the Garmin 62 Series GPS units. I did find information that is more of a rumor than anything that Garmin is building a firmware update that will allow the 62 series to support the Wherigo cartridges. I hope this helps.. Does anyone know if there's a firmware available for it at this point in time - or will be soon??? Quote Link to comment
+jojamime
Maybe all the GPSMAP 62 users should send a request to contact@Wherigo.com to ask for an update. The Wherigo site tells you to do so... Only if there are enough requests they are willing to build an update. Quote Link to comment

You'd need to contact Garmin for that as it was Garmin that initially approached Groundspeak about having Wherigo on their GPS receivers. Feel free to contribute to one of the feedback threads to help urge Groundspeak to continue Wherigo development. Quote Link to comment
