+Afterburned
I want to hide some caches with my caching buddy, and it would be nice to have us both appear as the owners. Can you do this? If so - how?? Quote Link to comment
+t4e
in the "Cache Placed By: " you can type any name you want (it will link back to the real account) but only one of you will get credit for the hide, the one that makes the actual listing Edited August 20, 2010 by t4e Quote Link to comment
+Brooklyn51
As was mentioned, you can list both of your names in the 'placed by' field. The hide's logs will automatically go to the person whose account was used to list the cache, but the other person can put the cache on their watch list and all log and notes will go to that person as well. It is a good way to co-watch a cache for maintenance purposes as well as just the fun of seeing who visits your cache. Then when you guys hide another one and the other person can be the one who uses his account to place the listing. Quote Link to comment
+Lovejoy and Tinker
Would be useful to have two accounts owning a cache. We're about to do it with some friends and came across the same limitation. If one team is on holiday or otherwise away, it would be great if the other team could do the maintenance, for example, and clear a NM log. Or simply access and edit the cache page to add or change content. I can see the benefits of dual ownership but I guess there are also reasons it can't or shouldn't be done - just can't think of any at the moment. Quote Link to comment
