The Stoned Wookie
I was searching for geocoins when I found this. <link removed by moderator> I would not consider these family friendly. Hopefully all cachers will realize this. What would you do if you found one of these in a cache? I'd contact the owner to send it back. Edited August 19, 2010 by Eartha Quote Link to comment
+Eartha
Hi wookie, I removed the link. Those are not Groundspeak approved designs. This is some guy telling you to buy his product that he stuck "geo" in front of the name, and then you're supposed to write your own tracking number on them with a Sharpie pen, which means you'd still have to buy the travel bug tag to get a tracking number. I would hope nobody would put them in a cache. Talk about a waste of landfill space. (For those wondering, the link led to some male anatomical dangling parts used as a keychain) Quote Link to comment
+buick1
I agree. This has no place in geocaching which has a main goal to get families out and about together. I'm glad you brought this to the attention of the geocaching community. Quote Link to comment
+J the Goat
There's a ton of those for sale on Ebay. Not cool. I wasn't thinking that GS was santioning these things. Quote Link to comment
