Im new

Hi guys my name is liz and i am very new to this whole geocaching thing and i love it. I have found 2 things so far in 2 different places and was so excited to find them.

Welcome! I'm glad you are enjoying the fun thus far.

 

You said you've found two already, but your geocaching.com profile doesn't show any?

 

I remember when I started that there are lots of little steps that go into a successful geocache "find." There are even MORE little steps to go through when you find a geocoin or a travel bug or any other "trackable" that can be followed on geocaching.com. Nothing too difficult, mind you, but I remember being more than a little confused when I first started.

 

The tutorials offered on geocaching.com are really helpful. A good place to start is "how to log a find." I've provided a link to the online tutorial HERE .

 

Once you know how to log your geocache finds, you should then visit this link, HERE , to learn how to properly log your geocoin/TravelBug finds.

 

If you have any questions, you can always come to these forums and ask. We were all beginners once.

I too see that you haven't logged the coins (assuming that's what you were referring to above) yet.

 

Please make sure to log that you picked them up so that the owner knows where they are and the mileage gets tracked accordingly.
