Zone size vs proximity size

Another PPC vs Garmin question I am afraid! (am trying to get a cart that will work on both with no Garmin to test on!)

 

I am trying to set up zones of about 20m

Which works best for both platforms?

1 - Very small (1m) zone with 20m proximity

2 - 10m zone with 10m proximity

3 - 20m zone with 1m proximity

 

Any help appreciated!

if you are trying to set up zones of about 20m, just set up a 20m zone, nothing complicated about that.

 

you don't actually need proximity unless you have a specific "proximity distance" action in mind, so 1m proximity doesn't make much sense

Well this is because of the way Garmins work differently from PPC type devices and do not fire the OnEnter until you zero in. I am trying to find a happy balance to use the OnProximity instead of OnEnter.
