What gps is right for me?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone. I was just wondering what gps unit to get. I want the features like a barometric altimiter, electronic compass, color screen, sd card slot, and the extreme sensitivity of the Garmin 60Csx, but I also want paperless geocaching and a unit that is marine friendly and that is verydurable. Please help, all help is appreciated.

If you want a touch screen I would go for the Oregon 450. It has all of the features that you want, and with the new beta software and firmware update it's accurracy is extremely good. I have a 450 and like it very much. The screen could be a bit brighter, but it's not a deal killer for me. The touch screen, ease of use, and geocaching friendliness are major pluses for this unit.
