Fixing incorrect TB logs

Hopefully somebody can help me out here...

 

Recently I scored an FTF on a new cache (GC27AFR), the person who hid this cache also used it to launch a TB (TB33ZQ9). When I found the cache I took this TB with me and dropped it off a fair distance from it's starting point (GCT5NE). So far so good

 

However the person that started the original cache and placed the TB in it did not log this correctly so I logged the TB pick up as "Grabbed from user X" (In heinsight this was the wrong thing to do and the original owner should have logged it in the cache and then I could have logged it as picked up from there).

 

As we did this wrong the TB page shows the first cache the TB was in as the cache I dropped it into and there is no record of the true starting cache (in fact it shows that I grabbed it from and dropped it into GCT5NE which is wrong). It would be nice to have a full and correct TB log and it is also a shame for about 3000km of TB travel to be lost. So, how can I fix it - if I can't (which I don't think I can) is it possible for me to contact an admin and get the TB log fixed?

if i was you, I'd contact the tb owner and the CO and ask them to help you fix it.

I'd contact the owner of the TB, send them that link to BlueDeuce's very clear instructions and let them do the corrections. I agree that it's down to them to make the necessary changes. You've done your bit.

Since you picked the bug up from that cache then yes you can do the back logging. Typically this will happen when you find a bug in a cache and the last carrier never gets around to doing the logging. You grab it away, post a note on the cache, Drop and Retrieve, then move it along.

 

In this case it just happens to be the owner who never did the logging.
