On Friday, with some trepidation, I asked my wife's uncle if he was interested in benchmark hunting. Sure he was! And since he had lived in the area for 30 something years, he was a big help in locating some of them. A couple were gone, but we found 7, 2 older disk types, 2 newer metal rod types and 3 landmark types. Has anyone done better in one day? Quote Link to comment

It could have been 12, but it appears that road "improvements" have eliminated a couple. I doubt there will be many days like that one again.... I seem to be finding all the easy ones first!
