changing icons on garmin 60csx

i finally got the poi dowloaded to the unit , but when you view the map you see the name of the cashe and a small dot that would represent the cashe, i would like to change that dot to the original cashe symble , is this possible remember i am in the custom points of interest.

You should try the set up menu. There is a Geocache option there.

And if you loaded them with Garmin's POI Loader, then you need to put a BMP version of the icon in the same folder as the PQ GPX file on your computer and name it the same as the GPX file except for the extension and load the icon with POI Loader when you load the Custom POIs.
