+GEO This
I upgraded from the vista HCx to the Oregon 550 and while there is a huge difference in the two, one is better then the other. My problem is after a shot or three the camera just freezes and I have to hold the power button for ten seconds to power off and then power back on. This has happened allmost all the time I use the camera. I did install the new firmware but it still does it. Garmin Canada has never heard of this and suggested I had a bad one with a bug and that I should replace it. GPS City was great and gave me a new one. Well a few shots later and this one froze. AHHGG.. \ Has anyone with a Oregon 550 experienced this glitch. Quote Link to comment
+entogeek
Are you storing your images on the SD card or internal memory? I have mine going to the SD card and have never experienced this problem. Quote Link to comment

I like the copper trim to boot. Edited March 31, 2010 by GEO This Quote Link to comment
