  1. I was under the weather for awhile and have not been up to play. Anyway I think it is a lake as I can see no currant. There is a footbridge possibly to a island. I dont see a boat or wake. There looks to be trailhead parking off a dirt road? Thats all I can come up with.
  2. Well 7rxc, take it away, time for a new canadian where are you quiz.
  3. Oh come on Canada, this is your country, venture out, explore. I can expand the shot but that would blow all the fun. It has been solved via a email notification by a cacher who wishes to pass it by.
  4. Ok while not small its not big either
  5. Sometimes stalking a geocacher and where they have been is interesting. I found out the cache in question by searching his personal trackables and that on may 16 1010 7rxc was at Higginson Tower GC1Q7QK. Say so long to this one and onto another, Have fun,now I just need to load the next
  6. Wow what a cache, I cannot glean a single clue from the picture. There looks like a smoke stack in the middle but its far enough away that I'd say its not important. This one may be to close in of a shot to solve unless your a local.
  7. Shouldnt be too hard for you super slueths!
  8. Waiting patiently myself for savant9 to confirm.
  9. Ha,got it, battleground cache GC13THC Saw it yesterday while searching for a previous one
  10. Interesting place for a runway, hmm wonder if a old VFR Supplement to the Alberta Air Facilties Maps will show something.
  11. Yup your the man Craig, I,m glad that I can pass on the torch. Boohaa
  12. Sounds like a plan to me. ! Have a Happy New Year and have a good 2011 everyone! We need a new player to kick off the New Year.
  13. No takers yet I'm told its not to hard to find, however no trys or requests . Should I throw in a hint? I'll wait a day or so as I know everyone is busy with the holidays still.
  14. We have a supprizing amount of reg L&L, small L&L, a fair amount of 35mil film canisters and quite afew ammo boxes, many bison tubes as well those pesky Nanos. Lots of recycled containers such as peanut butter jars and other containers such as kinder supprize . Overall, most of them are in good shape and I've only came across a few that where in bad shape, either wet or broken/cracked.
  15. hmm, a candidate for the lonely cache challenge... Maybe it could be a candidate for the LCC, but first you need to know where to go.
  16. Ok, I think I have it now. Sorry everyone as this is my first time. North is up. Have at it and many many thanks to Doug 7rxc edit. only been found six times since it was published in 2006
  17. Thanks monty family, but I still dont know what or where.
  18. Absolutely! I didn't think it was either hard or easy... Now you just have to go there and sign the log! I haven't even tried to yet, it appears to be a BEAR to get to... and I live here (broken vehicle). Then there are the uphill bits and weather. I think some go up by snowmobile to that valley... but I have yet to have an avalanche call out for there... I'd avoid that place until melt is over myself... a bit close quarters and steep. Did you have any problems with it... I find it hard to avoid being either too hard or too easy, can't find any middle ground so far... I do tend to advertise the area as well, sort of a giveaway of sorts. Lets see what you have up your sleeve... have at it! Doug 7rxc It sounds like a trip to me. Still unfound even with the nice summer and fall we had . I think next summer I'm going to plan on finding some of those mountain caches but this one is interesting. Did I find it hard, not really. Looked at your profile and your from elkford so I started there. The map looked like a mine may be close and some what knowing the area I just searched for a bare area and after 5 minutes I found it. Great game, and I have a cache inmind , but how do I capture the screen shot?

  20. Roger! I've been thinking about this one for a while... I'm not sure if it will be hard or not... this last one was a bit above average for my hunting, but I was thinking about Allstones lake and how many times I searched the same spot without seeing it. So I backtracked on this last one and redid a search of where I thought it should be... this time I saw it fairly quickly... but not one of my 3 minute finds for sure. Guess a full belly and some rest helps! This one I offering should be a bit easier I hope. Hard to judge when you know where it is! North up for sure. There you all go! Have more fun this Holiday Season! Doug 7rxc Got it, mystery lake GC2BA4F Dale
