I do know that REI stores have a bunch of clean ups planned, this might be a good opertunity for us geocachers to join with another group for some trashing out! +MountainMudbug Posted June 6, 2003 Share Posted June 6, 2003 I won't be able to do cleanup this weekend, but I'll be sure to set aside a free day soon to clean up in one of my favorite locations - the Smoky Mountains. Amazing how much garbage accumulates in such a beautiful place. I'll have my rubber-gloved hands full of scattered pee-pee tissues before you can say "gross!" (I was not aware that trails double as public toilets.) If only people could learn to respect their surroundings, we wouldn't have to specify cleanup days - everyday would be one!!
