+The Moop Along
I'm using some old Yemon Yime verbage here, since he's much more in the know than me. I've been asked by a TRIGO member to put this charity auction up for a good cause. Any questions can be directed to me, and I'll find someone who can answer them. "Since 2005, our geocaching organization TRIGO has endeavored to help the family of Sherri Ann McGibbon, a local geocacher who died in a car accident back in 2005. Sherri's geo-nick was/IS "pennstategirl", and she lived within eyesight of the very large and prominent white cross that towers over Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Fittingly, Sherri's Cache was placed on the mountain, and near the cross in her memory. After her passing, an education fund was established for her two children, Ashley and Andrew. Since then, geocoiners from around the country have often made a limited special edition of their geocoin, and donated something to this fund." The GeoJellies V3 project was no different. While not specifically organized by TRIGO, they certainly supported this project. Each participant made 2 Gold Jellies, kept one, and donated the other for this auction. 93 coins in total are up for grabs in this auction. All proceeds from this auction will go directly to the Education Fund. Thanks in advance for all your bids. Charity Auction Link Quote Link to comment

YemonYime
It's amazing to see coiners continuing to make a difference for the McGibbon family. Thanks go out to Moop, to those who bid in the auction, and to everyone who still keeps this family in their thoughts. Quote Link to comment
+The Moop Along
And that'll do it. A big thanks to all the bidders, who closed the auction at $455. I've decided to cover the $40 of fees, so a check for $455 will be headed over the Education Fund. Thanks! TMA Quote Link to comment
+LadeBear68
Was a bid retracted? I thought it was over $900. Quote Link to comment
+DresselDragons
Was a bid retracted? I thought it was over $900. Opalsns commented that it was $930 "worth" of coins...I don't think it was ever above the final selling price. Quote Link to comment

Opalsns commented that it was $930 "worth" of coins...I don't think it was ever above the final selling price. That's very true. $930 worth of coins was a comment only. 93 coins x $10 each = $930. All bids were clean and not retracted. TMA Quote Link to comment

+The Moop Along
Well, so someone just tacked on another $55 donation to make the total going to the Education Fund $510. If my math serves me right. Outstanding! TMA Quote Link to comment

The bid was at $405 for a long time...maybe that was the bid when you looked...sometimes the number 4 can resemble like a 9 if you are looking quickly Quote Link to comment
