TripDaddy
I recently found a travel bug (Canterbury Cathedral TB) in zip 33634 (Tampa, FL). When I went in to log that I had taken it, it shows like I took it from South Carolina and it won't let me edit the TB log. Is there any way to fix it? Thanks in advance, GC Newbie Quote Link to comment
+Minimike2
"dip" it back in the correct cache. Thast is, log it as dropped in the FL cache and then retrieve it from there. You do this with Notes to avoid multiple "Found It" logs. Quote Link to comment

Thanks in advance, GC Newbie On the bugs listing, choose the log type, "Grab it from Somewhere else". This will move the bug into your possession. At this point, most people will drop the bug into the cache that they found it in and then immediately retrieve it. (called dipping). This helps correct the bugs mileage and history. If you have already posted a "Found It" log on the cache, you can drop the coin by using a "Note" log. Quote Link to comment
