krrinngy
I recently tried (on a number of occasions) to download the Garmin Plugin 2.8.2 for the Mac. I followed all instructions and am sure I have the correct system requirements but each time I complete the download, the test page which automatically checks the validity of the action notifies me that it "cannot detect" the software. I have the same story when I try to download coordinates from Groundspeak. I have checked my plugins via Safari and this (contrary to what I am told by Garmin and Groundspeak) shows I do have the plugin installed. Anybody have any idea where I am going wrong. +RonFisk
I have the same problem using Safari. Try Firefox, it works fine for me. I have never been able to get it to work with Safari and I've tried on three different Macs. Maybe it works with an older version of Safari, but not Safari 4. Quote Link to comment

+Fizzle1979
It willnot work if you heve Flip for Mac installed. I had to uninstall Flip for Mac, and it worked after that. I googled the information and read about the fix. Can't remember what website it was though. Quote Link to comment
