+UncleJimbo
For one of my coins, I placed it in an event, and several people Discovered it. However, they posted their discoveries before I logged that I placed it in the Event cache. I assumed that their discoveries would show that they "discovered it in the hands of the owner", but no, their discoveries show that they discovered it in the last cache in which I placed the coin and retrieved the coin. Is there any way to correct this? I went in and edited my "drop" of the coin at the Event so that it would be dated before the discoveries, but this does not seem to have fixed the logs. This is the coin in question: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...e8-33e754207e0f Thanks Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
No way that I know of. You should run it past a gc.com programmer. Edited September 6, 2009 by BlueDeuce Quote Link to comment
+Droo
I think if the coin was listed in a cache but then discovered elsewhere it'll still show up as a discovery at the listed location. Goofs happen. Quote Link to comment

OK, how do I do that? contact@geocaching.com You are saying that while the coin was 'in your hands' the Discovery logs showed the previous cache as the location, right? Quote Link to comment
